The Dean's Message

On behalf of the administrative team, faculty and auxiliary staff, I whole heartedly welcome you to Corozal Junior College and a special welcome to those students who are on our beautiful campus for the first time.
I hope you are as excited as I have been to enter this lively, challenging and warm community. My 24 years here have taught me that we have both made an excellent choice
We look forward to getting to know the exceptional young men and women who will be with us for the next 2 years or 2 ½ years, and to providing a setting to learn, to grow and to think about your place in the world
I encourage you to get to know your teachers, and your academic advisors – talk to them after class, seek them out during their office hours (they are there waiting for you to come talk), engage them in discussions inside the classroom and about your own ideas. They will guide you and open doors to new possibilities.
You will be expected to display diligence, dedication and discipline in this learning experience by, among other things, attending all classes, submitting all assignments on time, and engaging in self-study. Also, in order to perform at the optimum level, you are encouraged to eat healthy meals, to exercise regularly and to get adequate rest.
The Corozal Junior College is committed to preparing you for entry into university, preparing you to sit the CAPE examinations and preparing you for your first job. In essence, it is our mission to prepare you to meet current and future challenges.
Finally, I want you to know that the entire community of educators is here to support, and encourage you as you commit to study at CJC. We could not be more excited or privileged to welcome you into this learning community. It is you who make us what we are, and we look forward to the fresh ideas and energy you bring to our campus. I speak for the entire administrative team, faculty, auxiliary staff and student community of the Corozal Junior College in saying we are so happy you have made the decision to join us and look forward to celebrating your success.
Welcome and May God Bless You!
Yours in pursuit of excellence,
Marlon Brown (Mr.)
Dean.
