The course Fundamentals of Math, MT 101, serves as part of a Developmental Program and is fundamental content for other areas of mathematics at Corozal Junior College. The course addresses multiple topics of algebra that will serve as a review for the more advanced topics explored in Intermediate Algebra – MT 103, Introduction to Calculus MT104 and College Algebra and Functions MT105. The topics to be explored in this course include: Number Types, Number Properties, Factoring Numbers, Fractions, Exponents and Graphing Each topic is discussed in the context of Algebraic Expressions.
