Functional Spanish (SP 139) is a 3-credit course designed to develop students’ linguistic and
cultural proficiency for effective communication in everyday situations. Through interactive
activities, students will learn to understand, analyze, and appropriately use Spanish in practical,
real-world contexts, fostering confidence in their ability to communicate in diverse environments.
