This course covers the laboratory aspects of BIO 209. It is a one-credit course that has two hours of lab sessions/week. Topics covered include, but are not limited to, Plant general structure (dicot and monocot stem and root), the role of stomata, plant pigments, photosynthesis and energy production, Uptake and transport of water and minerals, and transport in the phloem.
