Functional Spanish (SP 139) is a 3-credit course designed to develop students’ linguistic and cultural proficiency for effective communication in everyday situations. Through interactive and meaningful activities, students will learn to understand, analyze, and appropriately use Spanish in practical, real-world contexts. The course fosters confidence in learners as they build essential skills for communicating in diverse personal, academic, and community settings.
