This course builds on the concepts introduced in Calculus I by extending students' understanding of differentiation and integration and introducing the study of ordinary differential equations. Topics include advanced differentiation techniques involving exponential, logarithmic, inverse trigonometric, implicit, and parametric functions, as well as first and second partial derivatives. Students will develop proficiency in integration techniques such as substitution, integration by parts, partial fractions, reduction formulae, and numerical integration using the Trapezium Rule. The course also introduces first- and second-order ordinary differential equations, including analytical solution methods, boundary value problems, and mathematical modelling of real-world phenomena. Throughout the course, students will strengthen their analytical and problem-solving skills while applying calculus concepts to problems encountered in mathematics, science, engineering, economics, and related disciplines.
